A different kind of CoachingCoaching is often described as a process of helping people move forward — clarifying goals, overcoming obstacles and creating positive change.
While this can be valuable, my work goes further. I take a trauma-informed, integrative approach that recognises many of the patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions and behaviours were formed for important reasons. Rather than trying to push past these patterns, we work together to understand them with curiosity and compassion. My approach integrates the science of Positive Psychology with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Compassionate Inquiry. Positive Psychology provides practical, evidence-based strategies to support wellbeing and growth, while IFS and Compassionate Inquiry allow us to gently explore and resolve the deeper internal dynamics that can keep people feeling stuck. This combination supports change that is not only effective, but sustainable. Our work together is collaborative and respectful. I provide a space of genuine care, thoughtful guidance and honest reflection, helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-trust and clarity. From this foundation, people naturally begin to experience greater confidence, freedom and alignment in their lives. Many clients come to this work seeking change in one area of their lives, and discover benefits that extend far beyond what they initially imagined — including improved relationships, greater emotional freedom, stronger leadership capacity and a deeper sense of wellbeing. |
Integrating Evidence-Based Tools and Trauma-Informed PracticeMy work draws on over 15 years of experience applying Positive Psychology in real-world settings, alongside my training in Internal Family Systems and Compassionate Inquiry.
Where helpful, I integrate practical, evidence-based strategies to support wellbeing, emotional resilience and personal growth. These may include strengths-based development, values clarification, communication skills, mindfulness practices, and cognitive and behavioural tools grounded in psychological science. These approaches are always tailored to the individual and integrated within a broader trauma-informed framework, ensuring change is both effective and sustainable. |
